Basic rules of bingo
Bingo is a game which first started out in Italy in the early 1500’s. Since then it moved to France and then England and reached the United States of America in the early 1900’s. Since then it has gained immense popularity in the states. Nowadays, there is even an online version that you can play.
It is a very simple game to learn, and it also does not need much equipment. All that you need are the cards, the markers and the bingo cage to keep the numbered balls. The traditional card has 24 numbered spaces and one free space. There are a lot of specialty cards available in the market which caters to various educational purposes. They are usually used to teach math or science or language skills for younger children.
But the game itself is basically a game of chance. It involves each player getting a card and there will be a caller who will call out the numbers. If your card happens to have that number or marking, you will have to shout out bingo. This will stop the game and your card will be checked. If you have got that particular call, you have won the jackpot!
